The Media Center at Andover Newton Theological School is pleased to announce the schedule for the spring Media Workshops.
As part of the mission of the Media Center we teach practical hands on methods to use video and social media as a tool to assist Ministers, Rabbis, and nonprofit organizations.
- June 3 & 10 Video Production
- June 4 &11 Social Media
- June 4 &12 Public/ News Relations
Our workshops have been hugely popular and effective
"Valuable hands on experience in editing and camera work"
"I learned the concept of Face Book as a place to meet your congregation in the same way that you would meet on the street"
"The Chance to be interviewed on camera and review the video was extremely helpful"
"Online ministries are clearly becoming a vital part of the work of the church. Hearing one minister's story about making literally life-saving connections online, with congregants of all ages, really woke me up to the NEED for ministers to be in the places people gather—both in person AND online. Thank you for providing this chance to learn together and practice using these tools for effective 21st-century ministry."
Our workshop leaders bring not only expertise but an understanding and insight to the needs of the religious and nonprofit community.
Bob Craigue is a multi-Emmy award winning editor and videographer who has worked in Broadcast News and been a leader in computerized video editing. It has become his calling to bring that wealth of experience to assist faith leaders in using media as a support to their ministry.
