The Journal of Inter-Religious Dialogue is a forum for academic, social, and timely issues affecting religious communities around the world. It is designed to increase the quality and frequency of interchanges between religious groups and their leaders. The Journal seeks to build an inter-religious community of scholars, in which people of different traditions learn from one another and work together for the common good.
JIRD is looking for a Director of Publishing. This position does not require re-location and can be accomplished remotely, as long as there is a stable internet connection. A small stipend is available for this position; the amount of the stipend will be available as we continue the process of hiring.
When hired, the new Editor will shadow the current Editor for two issues of the Journal, and the current Editor will shadow the new Editor on the subsequent issue. The new Editor will assume all responsibilities for this position by the conclusion of 2014; however, the position will start much sooner.
