The ideal candidate has outstanding written and oral communication skills, as well as editing and photography skills, toward the goal of telling the story of how our diocese is engaged in proclaiming the good news in this time and place. Knowledge of social media is a must. This person is proficient in media relations/public relations and comfortable in a Christian worship environment. The candidate will collaborate with members of the senior staff and will support a comprehensive communication strategy for the Diocese.
The Communications Director/Missioner will have an office at Diocesan House and will be expected to attend major Diocesan events.
