The Plymouth Church of Framingham, UCC is seeking a qualified candidate for
our full-time Office Operations Manager.
We are an Open and Affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ,
located in the center of Framingham. We are a dynamic church and are
looking for an Office Operations Manager who can work as part of a
close-knit team of staff and church volunteers.
The Office Operations Manager is responsible for organizing and overseeing
the office and business functions of the church, including management of
property use by church groups and outside renters, administration of
finances and personnel.
This individual should have the ability to supervise the work of others,
understand the payroll process, develop and implement policies, and analyze
operational protocol. The Office Operations Manager should be capable of
working either alone or as a part of a team. Strong interpersonal skills
and superior oral and written skills are desired.
The Office Operations Manager must be able to multi-task and work in a
deadline-oriented environment. This individual should possess good
organizational skills, some financial background, and knowledge of
accounting practices and bookkeeping systems.
This is a full-time (40 hour) position with working hours of 9 am – 5 pm,
Monday—Friday. Salary is competitive based on experience and
Education, Experience and Skills:
The minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma.
At least 3-5 years prior office management and financial administration is
required, in addition, experience in event management is preferred.
Computer skills should be current with knowledge of the MS Suite (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint), QuickBooks, email, internet, and database management.
