Library Computer Services

Computer Services Available at the Franklin Trask Library

Computer in libaryThere are 4 terminals in the Hartshorn Room of the Library that
allow students to :

1. Access Web based databases.
2. Access the Trask Library On Line Public Catalog.
3. Access the World Wide Web.

The terminals are attached to a networked printer. Due to the high volume of Internet worms and viruses on the net, the terminals are NOT configured to do word processing or send and receive attached email files. Students needing access to word processing software or needing to attach or read email attachments may do so at the Student PC lab in the basement of Davis Hall. In addition, there are two dedicated Library Catalog terminals located in the Reference Room of the library. The second terminal has a printer attached. An additional workstation is available for use with Tutorial CD-ROMs. The cataloged CD-ROMs cover a range of topics from Biblical Languages to Church History.
