Student Association and Fellowship Groups
Student AssociationThe Student Association (SA) is made up of ALL students in the ANTS Community. YOU are the Student Association.
Mission Statement:
The Student Association of Andover Newton Theological School advocates for the interests and concerns of the student body and the quality of student life. We seek to fulfill this advocacy by representing the interests of the student body to the trustees, faculty, administration, and staff. Our goal is to foster a campus community that celebrates diversity and upholds the inherent worth and dignity of each person within the whole people of God.
Fellowship Groups:
The heart of student life and ministry at ANTS is the work of the Fellowship Groups. The Fellowship Groups are where you enrich your experience outside the classroom.
Student Association Executive Committee:
The leadership of the SA is the the SA Executive Committee. Its members are elected every year.

Student Association Constitution
SA meetings are open to all members of the ANTS community. Only registered degree
candidates and special students may vote. Notice of meetings will be posted a minimum of
one week in advance via Student E-News and flyers by the Vice President. The President
will post the meeting agenda via Student E-News no less than 48 hours before a scheduled
meeting. The President will preside as moderator. Roberts Rules of Order will be
followed. The Secretary will post meeting minutes on the SA bulletin board, and on
reserve in the library.
If you wish to have an item placed on the agenda, please contact the Student Association
President by phone or email at least 72 hours before the meeting, as the agenda must be
posted 48 hours in advance.
